We wanted to create a more mystical looking mage set (although this set is usable by all cloth wearers) for the Dranei.  We found great color matches for all the slots, and the weapon we thought was very cool due to all the moving parts.  Dranei and hoods are a perfect match so any chance we have to them wear them is good by us.

This is a very easy set to make, everything can be found in instances or crafted, the only difficult piece is a weapon of Magtheridon which is an easy raid to get 1-2 friends together and kill.

So the whole set began with us playing around with Shaman tier 10, and we thought it’d be cool to get a more tribal straight up witch doctor feel to the whole set.  Obviously we didn’t want to replace the helm but we thought the rest of the set was fair game to tamper with.  The shield was admittedly is a bit bright compared to the rest, but we think it all works out in the end.

If you run ICC 10man Heroic of 25man normal and win some tokens you can upgrade the justice points version of the helm and pants, while the rest of the set can be found through various different means.  You could also easily swap the shoulders for the actual Frostwitch shoulders, but we felt that was a bit uncreative.

In our earnest opinion, Dranei don’t get enough respect.  Nor do Enhancement Shaman really.  A match made in heaven?  We think so.  This set is all about raw molten fury, with what we consider the coolest fist weapons currently in the game.  The shoulders were a perfect match, and the rest of the set just works.  There were a bunch of cool looking helms to go with the set, but the helm off the level 60 Ragnaros went the best.  There were a few matching cloaks but we felt the set looked far more intense without any cloak at all.

Most of the pieces will require some serious BC Raid farming, and just requiring you to have 2 fist weapons is a already pretty demanding considering the extreme lack of them in Cataclysm raids.  If you ca pull it off though, you’ll have a hard time picking between weapon non-fist weapon upgrades and these sharp looking weapons.
